10.7 Output Is Not Root Cause

Feline Fat-Based Metabolism (Fat-Based Metabolism)

Definition

Observable output is not root cause. It is a reverse-entry index into upstream structure through Observable Output Backtrace.

Loose stool, constipation, hairball vomiting, urinary concentration, greasy coat, acne-like chin presentation, and coat condition are outputs.

Chain: output → direct control variable → mechanism variable → upstream food structure. Do not jump from output directly to product, supplement, or treatment.

Backtrace Variables
Output layer

What is seen: stool, urine, vomit, coat, skin.

Direct control variable

e.g. stool water content, solute load per unit energy, sebum processing rate.

Mechanism variable

e.g. fat processing rate, gastric emptying speed, protein energy pressure.

Upstream food structure

Final structural object in Feline FBM.

Minimal Backtrace Chain
observable output
direct control variable
mechanism / system variable
upstream food structure
Invalid Readings

output = disease name settled

output → buy supplement immediately

output → treatment protocol

output = root cause

Boundary

Emergency and clinical boundaries still apply before extended backtrace.
